TRANSPORTATION MANAGER NEEDED!

Develops and maintains transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency.

Requirements are as follows:
The company offers a competitive salary with a potential annual performance bonus.  Salary is dependant upon experience
Minimum 5 years experience in Transportation/Logistics
Knowledge of Route Delivery Operations a must
Must have working knowledge of Driver DOT requirements
Leadership/People Management experience and ability a must
Ability to recruit new personnel
Ability to coach/train new and existing personnel
Ability to perform administrative functions
Ability to provide reports as required to Upper Management
Will be required to follow Company Policy and Procedures (including Safety protocol)
Ability to manage and meet scheduled deadlines
Ability to problem-solve and make decisions
Ability to work with or with little supervision
Must be able to work with a diverse group of individual internal and/or external to the division
Ability and flexibility to work in a growing and changing environment
Professional
Dependable
Team Orientated
Strong Customer Relations Skills 
Must possess basic to advanced computer skills (word, excel, outlook, an asset)
Must be comfortable to adapt/learn internal mainframe system
Labor Relations Experience an asset
Post Secondary Education in Leadership/People Management a definite asset
Knowledge of Road Show and onboard truck computers (Xata) a plus
